Lire ces instructions avec attention avant utilisation et les conserver pour les besoins
futurs. Si vous ne respectiez pas ces instructions, la sécurité de votre enfant pourrait en
être affectée.
– Ne pas utiliser d’accessoires n’ayant pas été approuvés par le fabriquant.
– Les dommages causés par des accessoires non approuvés par CYBEX ( protège pluie,
crochet à cabas...) ne seront pas couvert par la garantie.

La sécurité de votre enfant est votre responsabilité. Utiliser toujours le harnais afin d’éviter
que votre enfant glisse ou tombe du siège.
– Avant d’utiliser la poussette, assurez-vous que tous les accessoires CYBEX sont bien
installés.
– Suivre attentivement la notice afin de vous assurer du bon usage de la poussette.

CETTE POUSSETTE EST CONçUE POUR UN ENFANT D’ENVIRON 6 MOIS à 15kg
Utiliser cette poussette pour un enfant de plus de 15kg peut l’endommager.
– Assurez-vous que les freins soient enclanchés quand vous installez l’enfant dans la
poussette.
AVERTISSEMENT: TOUJOURS UTILISER TOUTES LES SANGLES DU HARNAIS
– Le harnais doit toujours être attaché et ajusté correctement à la morphologie de
l’enfant.
– Ne soulever jamais la poussette avec l’enfant assis, ne descender ou ne monter jamais
un escalateur avec l’enfant assis.
– L’enfant mal installé, sans harnais, peut deséquilibrer la poussette.
– Ne pas forcer pour plier ou fermer la poussette, ceci pourrait l’endommager. Conduiser
doucement sur les routes à pavés et graviers.
AVERTISSEMENT: UTILISER LE HARNAIS DÈS QUE L’ENFANT PEUT SE TENIR ASSIS SEUL.
Le harnais et la ceinture ne remplace pas la surveillance d’un adulte.
– Assurez-vous que l’enfant ne se tienne pas debout sur le repose jambes.
– N’exposer pas directement votre poussette à une source de chaleur.
AVERTISSEMENT: NE PAS UTILISER CE PRODUIT EN FAISANT DU JOGGING OU DES
PROMENADES EN ROLLER.
– Si vous souhaitez attacher un dispositif de sécurité supplémentaire pour des raisons
de sécurité des boucles “D” (répondant aux normes actuelles EN13210 or BS6684) sont
fournies. L’enfant ne doit pas avoir accès à des pièces amovibles.
II.Instructions d’entretien
– L’utilisateur est responsable du maintien général de la poussette. Toutes les parties
à connecter et les rivets doivent être sécurisés et fixés fermement. Il est important de
traiter régulièrement le méchanisme de pliage avec du Teflon Spray (lubrifiant sec). Il
est important que les freins, roues et pneus soient entretenus. Inspecter, réparer ou
remplacer les si besoin. N’utiliser pas de produit abrasif ou non adapté pour entretenir
la poussette.
– Eloigner votre enfant de la poussette lors de la fermeture afin d’éviter qu’il ne se coince
fortement les doigts.

LA POUSSETTE.
– Cette poussette est conçue pour un enfant exclusivement.
– Ne modifier pas le montage initial de la poussette. En cas de problème, réclamation
avec la poussette, merci de prendre contact avec votre revendeur ou importateur.
– N’installer pas d’autre enfant dans la poussette, cela peut être dangereux et déformer
la poussette. Ne porter pas de cabas sur les poignées qui déstabiliserons la poussette.
Vos sacs et cabas peuvent être placés dans le panier de rangement, poids maximal 2 kg.
– Une révision doit être prévue tous les 12 mois.

– Ne jamais lubrifier les roues avec de l’huile. Nettoyer les axes et les roues avec de la
vaseline sans acide afin qu’elle fonctionne normalement.
IMPORTANT:

– Nettoyer les autres pièces en mouvement de la poussette avec du Teflon spray (lubrifiant
sec). Après vaporisation du spray, nettoyer à l’aide d’un torchon sec.
Conseil: Plier les pages avec illustrations que vous trouverez au dos de ce manuel puis
référez-vous aux instructions.
– Le cadre de la poussette et le système d’ouverture et de fermeture peuvent également
être nettoyés de cette façon. Ceci vous aidera à apprécier votre poussette sans
contraintes.

1. Relâcher le verrouillage.
2. Ouvrer la poussette.
3. Appuyer sur la pédale jusqu’à ce que le système soit enclanché.
AVERTISSEMENT: ASSUREZ VOUS QUE TOUS LES VERROUS SOIENT ENCLANCHéS AVANT
UTILISATION.
NETTOYAGE
– Ne pas utiliser de produit abrasif sur le cadre! Utiliser un torchon humide avec un
détergent doux puis essuyer avec un tochon sec.
– Si la poussette est mouillée par de l’eau de mer, rincer là rapidement avec de l’eau
douce.
2. MONTAGE DES ROUES AVANT
1. Fixer les roues avant jusqu’à l’engagement du clip
– Toutes les housses peuvent être nettoyées à la main avec un détergent doux (pas plus
chaud que 30°C). Se reporter aux étiquettes d’entretien pour plus de détails. Ne pas
mettre au sèche linge.
3. MONTAGE DU PANIER DE RANGEMENT
1. Accrocher les deux anneaux aux coins du panier aux crochets des tubes arrières et de
l’assise.
Accrocher les deux boucles restantes aux anneaux en „C“ sur les tubes arrières.
Inverser cette procédure pour la retirer.
–Tous les tissus CYBEX sont testés, toutefois si la poussette est très mouillée, des oréoles
peuvent apparaîtrent aux extrémités, afin d’éviter ceci, utiliser le protège pluie. Afin de ne
pas déformer le tissus, ne pas plier ou ranger la poussette mouillée, déhousser et laisser
sécher la housse.
4. UTILISATION DES FREINS
1. Utiliser votre pied pour activer les freins. Les freins arrières s’activent simultanément.
2. Lever le verrou avec votre pied pour relâcher les freins.
AVERTISSEMENT: ASSUREZ-VOUS QUE LES FREINS SOIENT ACTIVéS QUAND VOUS
INSTALLEZ L’ENFANT DANS LA POUSSETTE.
Cette poussette répond aux normes actuelles DIN EN 1888:2003 + A1/A2/A3:2005
standard.
5. VERROUILLAGE AUTOMATIqUE DES ROUES AVANT
1. Soulever le verrouillage jusqu’à entendre le “click”, dans toutes les positions le vérrou
s’enclenchera automatiquement.
RECYCLAGE
– Lorsque vous n‘utiliserez plus la CYBEX RUBY, recycler est important. Le traitement des
déchets étant différent d‘un pays à un autre, merci de contacter votre centre de déchet.
Toujours suivre les règles d‘évacuation des déchets de votre pays.
2. Baisser le verrou pour le relâcher de nouveau.
6. UTILISATION DU HARNAIS
1. Pour attacher le harnais - Insérer les fixations dans la boucle centrale.
2. Pour serrer les sangles du harnais, tirer sur la sangle située devant le système de
fermeture.
3. Pour détacher le harnais, presser les sillons de chaque côté.

7. FIXER LE CANOPY
1. Insérer les fixations du canopy dans les supports sur les tubes de gauche et de droite
de la poussette.
12. INSTALLER LE PROTèGE PLUIE
Etendre le protège pluie comme indiqué sur le dessin
1. Accrocher le protège pluie aux fixations du canopy et du repose jambes.
2. Placer la capote vers l’arrière du siège et déplier le canopy au dessus du dossier.
3. Lever les barres de tension et replier le canopy sur lui-même pour le fermer.
4. Pour retirer le canopy appuyer sur les fixations et ôter-le.

8. INCLINER LE DOSSIER
La CYBEX RUBY dispose de 2 positions d‘inclinaison différentes.
1. Pour incliner le dossier, retirer les clips du côté gauche et droit.
2. Fixer-les dans les supports correspondants sur les tubes arrières de la poussette.
Assurez-vous que les clips soient correctement enclanchés avant d‘adosser votre enfant.

Ôter tous les objets du panier de rangement. Retirer le canopy.
1. Pousser avec le pied le verrou pour amorçer la fermeture.
2. Lever le verrou avec le pied pour annuler le système de tension.
3. Abaisser le deuxième verrou (barre de tension à la droite du système de verrou).
4. Saisir les poignées et pousser la poussette vers l’avant pour qu’elle se plie.
Accrocher la poussette à l’aide du clip pour qu’elle reste pliée. Il est recommendé
d’attacher le harnais avant de plier la poussette.

10. PORTER LA POUSSETTE
1. Tirer sur la poignée flexible de transport située sur le tube arrière de la poussette puis
soulever la.
11. ÔTER LA HOUSSE
Plier la poussette légèrement pour détendre la housse. Ôter le canopy.
1. Retirer les fixations de gauche et de droite pour dégager la housse.
2. Détacher les boucles fixées aux tubes arrières.
3. Défaire les boutons pressoirs sous le repose jambes pour l’ôter des tubes.
4. Détacher les ficelles sous la housse.
5. Passer les sangles dans les coutures/passants pour dégager le harnais.
6. Faire glisser la housse en dehors des tubes. Inverser la procédure pour installer
la housse et le harnais. Assurez-vous que les tubes passent dans les glissières de la
housse.

The harness always needs to be attached and adjusted correctly. If not adjusted correctly
according to the instructions the stability of the stroller will be affected.

– To attach an additional full harness system for safety reasons ‘D’ rings (according to
EN13210 or BS6684) are provided.
– The child should be clear of any moving parts while making adjustments. Prevent
children from grabbing the stroller while folding and unfolding, as fingers can become
trapped and scissoring actions are unavoidable.

– WARNING: ANY LOAD ATTACHED TO THE HANDLES AFFECTS THE STABILITY OF THE
STROLLER.
Do not carry additional children, do not hang shopping bags from the handlebars or carry
shopping bags on the stroller except in the stroller’s basket. Maximum load 2 kg. Otherwise
the stroller is likely to become unstable. Overloading can also damage the vehicle.

– Damages caused by the use of accessories not approved by CYBEX, such as rain covers,
buggy boards, bag hooks, etc. will not be covered by the terms of our warranty.
– It may be unsafe to use replacement parts other than those approved by CYBEX.

– Before using the stroller, always check whether the accessories are well secured.
– The frame tubes covered by the locking mechanism and turning mechanism should
also be regularly cleaned and sprayed. This will ensure that you enjoy your stroller without
any problems.
– Ensure that the stroller is always in the brake position when you put your child into the
seat.
CLEANING
– Never lift the stroller with the child inside; never ascend or descend stairs or escalators
with the child inside or when traveling on other forms of transport.
– Do not use abrasives to clean the frame! Use a damp cloth and a mild detergent and
dry thoroughly.
– When opening and closing the stroller, do not use force, as incorrect folding can damage
or break the stroller. Check the instruction manual if necessary.
– Should the stroller be exposed to salt water, please rinse it down with fresh (tap) water
as soon as possible afterwards.
– Drive carefully over curbs and gravel roads. The vehicle will be damaged by repeated
impact.
– The upholstery and cover can be washed by hand with mild detergent (not warmer than
30°C).
– Make sure your child does not use the footrest to stand on.
– Do not expose the stroller to any artificial heat or direct sunlight.
II.Instructions for maintenance
– See care labels for details. Do not use the washing machine or tumble drier. Dry
thoroughly before reuse.
– All CYBEX fabrics have been tested, but when the stroller is very wet, the water may
permeate the lining through the bottom edges and seams and leave water stains on the
upholstery. We advise you to use a rain cover to avoid this. Also please do not fold or store
the product while wet. If the stroller is wet, allow to dry with the hood extended. Never
store in a damp environment as this can cause mildew to form.
– The user is responsible for the regular maintenance of the stroller. All connecting parts
and rivets have to be tightened and secured properly. It is particularly important to ensure
that the locking mechanism and swiveling mechanism are treated regularly with Teflon
spray (dry lubricant). It is important that brakes, wheels and tyres are not impaired during
use. Inspect them regularly and repair or replace if necessary. STOP using any product
that does not appear structurally sound.
This product was approved according to the EN 1888:2003 + A1/A2/A3:2005 standard.
DISPOSAL
– When you are done using your CYBEX RUBY, a proper disposal is important.
Garbage disposal can be different in every country. Please contact your local waste
management company to make sure you are taking the right steps to dispose of the
CYBEX RUBY. Always follow the disposal regulations of your country.
– Do not make any modifications to the product. If you have any complaints or problems,
please contact your supplier or importer.
– A service should be scheduled every 12 months.
– Never lubricate the wheels or axles with oil. If you treat the axles with acid-free Vaseline
regularly, the wheels will continue to run smoothly.
– You can also treat the other moving parts with Teflon spray (dry lubricant). After spraying
on the Teflon, wipe the product with a soft cloth.
– Use only original CYBEX replacement parts. It may be unsafe to use substitutes.

6. USING THE HARNESS SYSTEM
1. To fasten the harness system – insert left and right side fasteners into the central
harness buckle.
IMPORTANT:
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE. YOUR CHILDREN’S SAFETY MAY BE AFFECTED IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW
THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Adjust the shoulder straps with the corresponding sliders.
3. To release fasteners squeeze the grooves on left and right side of the central harness
buckle to release the belts.

WARNING: ALWAYS USE THE CROTCH STRAP IN COMBINATION WITH THE WAIST BELT.
7. ATTACHING THE HOOD
1. Click the hood’s hooks into the supports on the front tubes on left and right side and
extend the hood.

1. Release the folding lock lever.
2. Open the stroller.
3. Push the pedal button down until the locking system is engaged.
2. Close the canopy stretchers on left and right side to stretch the hood.
3. To fold back the hood, lift the back part of the stretcher.
4. To release the hood press the hooks and remove.
WARNING: ENSURE THAT ALL LOCKING DEVICES ARE ENGAGED BEFORE USE.
2. ASSEMBLING THE FRONT WHEELS
1. Snap in the front wheels until the snap finger is engaged.
8. RECLINING THE SEAT
The CYBEX RUBY has two different recline positions.
3. ASSEMBLING THE BASKET
1. To recline the backrest pull out the hooks on left and right side of the front tubes.
2. Then hook them into the corresponding supports on the rear tube.
Ensure that the hooks are fastened properly before you put your child back into the seat.
1. Slide the two front loops of the basket over the seat tubes.
2. Hook in the remaining two loops in the basket´s corners into the two C-shaped rings
on the rear tubes.
Reverse this procedure to take the basket off.
WARNING: NEVER RECLINE THE SEAT WHILE YOUR CHILD IS IN IT.
4. USING THE BRAKES
9. FOLDING THE STROLLER
1. Use your foot to push the brake lever down on one of the back wheels to engage the
brakes. The brakes of the back wheels are linked to each other, so that both brakes are
operated simultaneously.
Remove all contents from the basket.
Release canopy stretchers if the hood is fitted. Ensure the hood is folded back.
1. Push the primary lock lever underneath the pedal button.
2. Lift the pushed primary lock lever to release the stretching system.
3. Push down the secondary lock lever (extended bar on right side of the locking system)
4. Grip handles and push forward on stroller to fold it.
2. Lift the brake lever again to release the brake.
WARNING: ENSURE THAT THE PUSHCHAIR IS ALWAYS IN THE BRAKE POSITION WHEN
YOU PUT YOUR CHILD INTO THE SEAT.
Press folded stroller until the storage clip is engaged.
5. AUTOMATIC FRONT WHEEL SWIVEL LOCKS
It is recommended to fasten the harness before folding the stroller.
1. Lift the Front Swivel Lock Lever until it “clicks” in, in any wheel position. The Swivel lock
will be engaged automatically when it reaches in the right position.
2. Push the Front Swivel Lock Lever down again to release the Swivel Lock.
10. CARRYING THE STROLLER
1.Pull the flexible carry handle on left rear tube and lift the stroller.

11. REMOVING THE SEAT COVER

Slightly fold the stroller to reduce tension. Remove hood from stroller, if fitted.
1. Detach the seat cover’s hooks from the frame on left and right side
2. Detach the seat cover’s hooks of the recline system from the frame.
3. Open the press buttons behind the legrest to detach it from the frame tubes.
4. Open straps underneath the seat cover.
The guarantee and transfer form must be filled in before we can assess your complaint.

Reverse this procedure to refit the seat cover and harness.

12. ATTACHING THE RAINCOVER
Extend the rain cover over the stroller like shown in the drawing.
1. Connect the rain cover to the mushroom pins at the canopy and the leg rest.
